On April 21, 1976, nine-year-old Charles Dimino III played in an empty lot on Rt. 110 near Spagnoli Rd. while his mother waited to purchase a hot dog from a roadside stand. Suddenly he disappeared, falling into an abandoned well whose wooden cover had rotted. Members responded with our Rescue/Light truck which had been outfitted with an ‘A’-Frame. Bob Reiser was lowered into the well and retrieved the uninjured child.
