The Melville Volunteer Fire Company’s first firetrucks. A 1925 and a 1926 American-LaFrance pumpers purchased used from the Huntington Fire Department for $101 each. They are pictured at what was once the annual fire department fair.
I’d love to know what ever happened to them!
