The Half Hollow Hills Community Library celebrated its 50th birthday in April of 2009.

I remember when they had a school bus which connected the HS with the library in Melville in the summer. We took that bus to the old library and went over to RTE 110. We then picked up the 110 bus to the new Whitman Mall.

That library was the predecessor of Sunquam! My brother, Peter, went to kindergarten there.
