On this website you will find photographs and descriptions of some historic buildings and people in the Half Hollow Hills community. You might notice there is a section for comments on each record. Is anyone aware of photos of the Long Island Motor Parkway bridge that once spanned Route 110 ? It would have crossed over just south of the post office complex. The bridge was demolished sometime in the early 1950’s. Also, does anyone have any information or photos of the Parkway toll lodge that at one time sat on the eastside of Route 110 just south of the post office complex ? The last toll collector was a Mr. Damiano. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Al Velocci
